Overview

This is a PODIII for attaching RAM components in a vehicle, using the passenger seat front mounting rail bolts. No drilling necessary. Just remove the seat mount bolt, and re-insert with the slotted adaptor in place.

The bendable aluminium rod will then lock in to the round receptor, and the upper end is clamped into the turret. Three aluminium rods are clamped in to the turret.

Two rods will be fixed to the seat mount, and one rod can be used to stabilize the setup against the floor, transmission tunnel, or bulkhead. The turret can be bolted to any ball round plate in the RAM range.

The RAM-316-3AU consists of 3 rigid aluminum rod legs and mounting base that contains the universal AMPs hole pattern. The base of the mount connects to your seat rail without any drilling necessary. The rigid aluminum rod legs can be bent to position your device to its optimum viewing location.
